From one machine to a full production floor.
Saqib Carry Bag was founded in 2013 by Saqib Ansari, who set out to make non-woven carry bags that shopkeepers and brands could actually rely on — bags that held their shape, held their load, and held up to daily reuse.
What began as a modest workshop has scaled steadily over more than a decade into a full manufacturing operation capable of producing over 10,000 bags a day, across 8 standard sizes and more than 220 colours and prints — from plain retail staples to festive, floral and fully custom-branded ranges.
Every bag is still made to the same standard the company started with: 110 GSM non-woven fabric, reinforced handles, and construction that's built to be reused hundreds of times — because a bag that gets thrown away after one use was never really eco-friendly to begin with.
The beginning
Saqib Ansari founded Saqib Carry Bag with a single production line, focused on plain non-woven bags for local retailers.
Expanding the range
Printed and patterned lines were introduced — checkers, diamonds, florals — alongside the original plain-colour bags.
Scaling production
New machinery and a larger floor pushed daily output past 5,000 bags, with custom branding added as a core service.
